Off the Chain
This arrived today. I woke up to a lovely email from Fire Mountain Gems notifying me my order would be arriving. I was like a madwoman constantly checking the FedEx tracking number, checking the mail box to see if the FedEx person placed a sticker on the mailbox. I ordered 25 feet of gold plated chain for a project I am working on. After doing some calculations, I am still in need of 100 feet, yikes! The two sun pendants were a free gift from FMG. I had a very pleasant experience with FMG, the website was fairly easy to navigate and the ordering was very simple. I placed an order Saturday night, it shipped on Monday and arrived on Tuesday.
Speaking of off the chain, this evening Erin and I crossed the street to grab a couple things from our local RiteAid. The cashier was a familiar fellow, always kind and cheerful in a sincere kind of way…..I have noticed two things about my favorite RitAid dude: pinky finger nail is long as hell and he wears the most amazing gold-ass-diamond-cross bling chains, ever! I love the Pearl RiteAid.
HURT…I have been cutting, serging, turning fabric. In other news…we went to the farmers market this morning, purchased our basics: kale, blueberries, carrots, broccoli, and some other goodies…..I will not be having any of the broccoli….a bright green squirming friend decided to hitch a ride to our house…ugh!
10:45pm I just ordered some labels…now I’m nervous…3 designs on their way
Jody (sister-in-law) did a great job planning the trip and activities. Thanks to Jody and Darrin for hosting D.A.E

Whenever it is nice and sunny out I have insane amounts creative energy. Most of that energy involves sewing, cooking, reorganizing my fabric, collecting tear sheets for the “next” collection, etc. The poo-poo side of this is I never get to be apart of the lovely day. I have been working on fever #2 since we got back from the farmers market this morning. I declare no more sewing for the rest of the day. ………………………………
