unheard of
I managed to pack 2 pairs of jeans, 2 dresses, 3 shorts, 10 tees & tanks, 4 pairs of shoes and a hand full of randoms (pj’s, swim gear, etc…) in my adilibria duffel…..I am a self proclaimed overpacker, I like to have options, duh! According to S.J. my clothes are the size of doll clothes. I think it helps that much of what I am bringing is from AA. AA goodies are great for travel, they can be folded into teeny tiny biscuits (backstock skills.) I have prepared my itinerary and secured a driver to get me to all the places I am hoping to visit. My driver (aka little cousin Andrew, he makes pretty cakes) will be payed with wings at Buffalo Joe’s in Evanston.
I sent off the woven label artwork this morning. I am hoping to get a quote by the end of the day so I can get the production started before I leave…..almost finished hand sewing fever #1….
I will be revisiting fever #2, take inventory, determine what is needed complete the project. I began this project about 2 years and have not touched the project in 13 months. Images below are proto’s

Fever #1 is manifesting itself in this form. Need to pick up a few findings and hand sew the openings shut with a lovely slipstitch.

Erin and I went to Crafty Wonderland last weekend. It sort of reminded me of portfolio show. I purchased two prints from Joanna Wright
Two magnet buttons for me
and 3 shirts for Erin from Monsieur T.
A few pieces from Starship Helsinki for DT5. This collection was heavy on patternmaking. Much of my patterning guidance came from a book by Nakamichi Tomoko called PatternMagic…volume I is sick! volume II is even better. Most of the pieces in the collection involved a patterning or sewing challenge, this allowed me to explore and create happy accidents. notthegreatestpictures.rushingmybatterywasdieing.yesiknowishouldhaveironedbetter
This short was paired with a F’ing amazing top, no picture because it looks janky on the dress form. The model who rocked this was Awesome!

Playing with proportion and fabric usage.

Leggings from outer space…curved seams are a B. Candace a pair for you someday soon!
Dress was accidently paired with my men’s pant. Oh well

Tea&Toast&Tiffany….thinking of you, gurl!
